Because proprietary software and particularly abandonware gives you the largest amount of freedom. No incompatible libraries, no forced updates that fuck up said libraries if you dare want to use an older version of something past a couple updates, the ability to freeze your system in time, and ultimately, quality software written by large teams of people with a monetary incentive which if you aren't retarded you can pirate and/or use 20+ year old versions of.

Okay so I had absolutely NO idea this existed, but back in the 90's there was an arcade game at Chuck E. Cheese called Tower of Power. I have recently obtained a vintage sign from this game and from a defunct Chuck E. Cheese and will be making reproductions of the sign for all TOP staff. What a truly bizarre example of synchronicity, as the naming scheme of this place honestly had nothing to do with this. It's really cool and makes a beautiful wall hanger.
